This page is an informal online library for the New York Spelmanslag. Tunes that we play regularly are marked with two **asterisks. Tunes that some of us play have one *asterisk.
It is not complete - we play much more, but these are the tunes we have digital transcriptions for. Some of the transcriptions are protected by copyright, so please be mindful in your use and distribution.
Note: The transcriptions are only guidelines. If in doubt, what we hear is right, not what we see transcribed.
- Tunes marked (pdf) are in pdf format, and when you click on the link it will immediately start downloading the file onto your desktop.
- (Jpg) and (gif) means you get to a page displaying the image of the transcription. It loads fast into a new your browser window, but isn't as pretty when you print it. Some tunes are available as jpg and as pdf.
- Links marked (folketshus) point to an online tune library on the Danish Folketshus website. They open in a new window, and often there is a link to a midi-version to listen to!
